About Hannah Leigh

Hi! I am so happy you are here! My name is Hannah Diehl - I was born and raised in Texas. I’m a lover of Jesus, all things art, event planning, low-tox living + more. I graduated from Texas State University with a BFA in Studio Art and an EC-12 certification. I was a full-time elementary art teacher for 3 years in Dallas, after we moved I was an art teacher at the sweetest art studio in our town. Being able to share my love for art with young children was truly a dream! Once I had my baby, I decided to stay home and I could not love it more. Raising my babies is truly a blessing and my calling. I am currently living in the Texas Hill Country with my husband and sweet little boy!

From a young age I've always been intrigued by art. All I wanted to do was create. My grandfather was an amazing painter and wood worker, he was always encouraging my sister and I to make art. I loved experimenting with different types of mediums, I wanted to try everything - drawing, oil painting, watercolor and fiber arts. I still love experimenting with art, especially recreating the same work in different mediums to see how it changes, but what I love the most is painting places I’ve visited. More specifically, places that have stolen a piece of my heart and painting them in ways that show what I find beautiful about each place, how I see them and the emotion I resonate with it. It takes me back to that moment in time.

My goals are simple, just create and share my little corner of the world with others. I want to create without doubt and without worry. I would love to share my work with others, inspire creativity and evoke emotion. My ultimate dreammm is to one day own an art gallery in the Texas Hill Country with curated art, a section of local children’s art on display, a room to teach private classes and art lessons, a studio for myself and to use the space to host events!

I SO appreciate you stopping by, and I hope you love my pieces as much as I do!
